Me and my friend have same GPU, but he has the interl, i have the AMD.
In csgo he gets 300+fps on 1080p + everything on high
in csgo i get 220 fps + 1280x960 + everything on low + nvidia settings optimized for high performance

if ur getting only 220 fps on r5 3600 on 960p then there's something wrong. I get 300-400 on 1080p highest settings.

the intel processor is just dedicated for gaming lol, r5 3600 is far better in productivity

It's what a lot of people seem to forget about them. AMD has been the productivity CPU for the past 10 years or so. Intel was always better at gaming.

Most people tend to advice to go to amd because overall it's better than intel. If someones focus is hard on gaming, then intel is most likely the best choice.

People just need to realise that AMD hasn't eclipsed intel at all. It's just more people are being vocal about them, while nobody really talks about intel that much anymore.

Single Core perf. <Multi Core Perf

In cs it's normal cuz it utilizes single core more than Val, you should fps diff him in Val by the same amount, cuz Valo uses multi Core more efficiently.

Just for you to know, AMD is way better than Intel, while AMD spend a lot of money on reasearch, Intel been slacking a lot, and lithography... AMD is surpassing Intel in upcoming years

Well, both chips already have their successors now if by chance you are living under a rock AMD is currently the "Gaming CPU" at least for the latest gen.
Plus AMD has way lower TDP compared to Intel for the same performance. On top of that cheap motherboard + producing new-gen CPUs on the same chipset is extremely good for a consumer for future-proof builds.
