Havent played Valorant but is it true??

I havent play for 2 weeks cause im not in my country right now and im coming back in 3 days so i see eveywhere that the ares is very powerful rifht now and the game is always 5v5 ares all doesnt matter eco or buy round wtf..is it true? Why would they ruin the whole game and make the ares overpowered when novody even asked for a buff
