My thoughts for the upcoming VCC --

Global eSports (GE) - I'm pretty sure they are gonna be one of the two teams qualifying from VCC, they have always been on top only with few inconsistencies here and there, but they always came back stronger and are the current top team of India. Players- SkRossi, HellrangeR, Lightningfast, KappA and skillZ.

Velocity Gaming (VLT) - My favorite team in SA. They are a pretty strong team, probably the only team on par with GE (maybe EG too, not too sure). But Amaterasu (IGL) is gonna play with the team after a long time and I'm a little doubtful but Vibhor in the team is also really strong. One of the favorites for sure. Players- Amaterasu, DM, Marzil, Vibhor (6th), rite2ace, hellff, mw1 (sub).

Enigma Gaming (EG) - Rising in the ranks since the addition of coach yb. Have one of the top duelist in SA. Really good form in recent tourneys. If they manage to defeat GE or VLT and pull off an upset, it wouldn't be shocking. Now with the addition of Excali, I think this roster has the potential to be the best team in India. Players- rawfiul, RvK, Antidote, Rexy, hikkA, Excali (6th). Coach- yb.

Team Exploit (TE) - Even if they lost their star player Storax, they have been consistently a top 5-6 team. If they are in a good form, they have upset potential. Players- soulM8, shooterR, k1Ng, SH4K4, HSB.

tl;dr - 4 fav teams for the upcoming VCC. GE, VLT - top 2/ favorites. EG, TE - dark horses.

I do think VLT will come from Wildcard , IF EG poaches Excali but they should have good practice before coming to VCC. Trust me Excali is the Best Non Jett Duelist in South Asia if he continued with VLT , VLT would have represented us in APAC LCQ

hot take: GE will choke in quarters and Engima qualify. VLT qualify but in APAC matches Deathmaker and Amaterasu don't play and watches vibhoor and mw1 take their place instead right in the team room therefore possibly loosing.

Its the playstyle difference. They played each other enough to just know each other well so they both can defeat each other.
But aggressive plays is what GE look like they are potentially KR destroyers as KR teams tend to play defensive.
But Vlt would play better against Sea and other teams than GE because of their patient plays and adaptive ability which avoids choking from them.

For the people being sad about Vibhor and saying GE should pick him up , apparently Vibhor wanted to play VCC but team picked Marzil because of his wide agent pool , so Vibhor was given the freedom by VLT to be loaned out to another team to play VCC. Vibhor decided against it and wanted to stay as the 6th man. He was given to option to go and he turned it down

Marzil was picked over vibhor not for his agent pool but for the leading skills and decision making which would help the team to get out of certain situations. imo vibhor was a better pick cause you have ace for the 2nd igl

Initially ace wanted to bench himself because he said Vibhor was playing better Sova than him , but the team needed Ace's skye so they decided against it
Marzil's biggest advantage is his insane Raze
Plus amaterasu is back now so they don't need a secondary filter anymore

It also depends on the overall playstyle of the team the way psy plays sova is the opposite of how kappa plays for me its very difficult to see psy perform like he used to in a team like that of GE. If we talk about aim sure psy has a better aim but he tends to be a bit inconsistent with it and kappa’s sova utility usage is better than psy anyday.
Might sound like a 1Head take but kappa is overall better than psy for GE. They can take Whimp/blackhawk they are very good pickups and as leaks go they might have already signed ghost.
