Is best marvel movie I’ve watched and probably like top 10 movie I’ve watched
spoilers down below
ngl I kinda forgot the previous spider man movies (not the Tobey ones) before coming to the cinema, but I was kinda lost in the first part not really knowing what was going on and then I didn't get why did spider man have to catch these guys into these cells, when in the end they could send them home from anywhere with a single press of a button. Then strange got locked up in his dimension for 12 hours just because of some webs sounded stupid to me. eel guy at the end was materialized with a vest, while he could have been just an untouchable pure ball of energy. sand guy turned at spider man for some reason that I didn't get, since I thought that his goal was to return to his daughter, so why not cure the dudes and return? I didn't get what was up with these people in the rifts either, who are they and why do they give a fuck about spiderman. Why did Tobey have to get stabbed when Garfield was just chilling there while Tobey was preventing Tom from killing Goblin and then after Tobey got stabbed only then he threw the cure to Tom, dude could have just give him the cure himself when these two were fighting.
I liked the comeback of the familiar faces, surprised how good all of them looked, except Tobey who aged the most out of the bunch, but the rest of them looked pretty much the same as I remember them years ago.
I was getting bored during the movie until Tobey and Garfield showed up, probably got hit with the nostalgia boner hahaha
There are many other things that I probably forgot to add, but this is what I could recall from the top of my head and if someone could explain some of these to me I'd be grateful
PS: was there anything else after the credits? I left after the Venom part, so idk if there was anything else.
Not true. I watched Spiderman 1 not that long time ago and its still really good. While I watched Far From Home not that long time ago and I thought it was pretty dogshit and don't even remember much from it. Same with Homecoming. IMO Tom Holland Spiderman movies are really soulless and perfect example of what is wrong with movies especially Marvel ones nowadays. Haven't seen newest one though. And I really dislike the fact that newest one are so heavily in MCU. Like I want to watch Spiderman movie, not Spiderman with Iron Man and Doctor Strange.
Doesn't have anything to do with this though. New Spiderman movies are pretty dogshit compared to older ones in my opinion (Spiderman 3 is shit, even though I liked it a lot when I was younger). There really isn't much that I like about the newer ones while older ones are still good. Old ones just don't feel super staged movies with forced comedy and stereotypical characters with dumb abilities. Like "hey let's make Spiderman's friend to be this stereotypical fat Asian nerd who can just hack into schools security system with school computers heheh". And then you have all these different heroes taking screen time as well and that makes every Marvel movie feel the same.
