mechanically he was probably one of the best itw but he only had 1 play, he always played superagro and killed everybody or die first everytime if the opponent is good enough to counter it and obviously that didnt work against sentinels, he has improved so much since iceland he is no longer like that

derke was always this good. he's better than tenz (obviously), even on iceland LAN just from the eye test. his mechanics are clean and u can tell he has a good instinct for the game. i think he's the best player in this tourney, followed by leaf. i only put leaf up there because he proved he can hard carry even on a support agent like skye

yeah that was unlucky. but just from watching his knives play and his gunplay i could just tell that his mechanics are better than tenz. some tenz fanbois on this website just don't realize that mechanics =/= aim. and yeah, he's a whole new player on lan

I wouldnt say he choked, he just god countered cuz he was a 1 trick pony just agro every round, he either killed every1 or died first 20 times per game and sentinels did a good job at countering that

I disagree with you he was bottom fraging against sentinels in Iceland and was very inconsistent he was good but he was never as good as he is right now

that's performance wise tho. his mechanics and playstyle never got considerably better. i think his better stats now are mostly due to fnatic just having a better approach to the game as a team. just purely as an individual PLAYER, i think he was always this good even in iceland. just my opinion tho, i could definitely be wrong about that

Derke wasn't better than tenz in Iceland what in the recency bias is this, tenz literally shut him down so hard and tenz hard diffed him in frags every time.

nah it doesn't. for example, let's say zombs hypothetically got 280 acs this tourney. he still wouldn't be the best player in the world because it requires consistent performance. just like how in cs, if niko is mvp of a tourney, s1mple is still obviously the best player in the world
