Why are people rating SEN over C9?

C9 came really close to beating G2 2-1 and on a good day that MIBR game could have been 3-0 (if it still went all 3 maps). While SEN have only beaten 3 of the lowest teams and 100t. I'm not saying they are that far apart but shouldn't C9 be put over them at least for now?

Many people think that C9 will crumble in playoffs like they've done till now, however this is a completely different core and there's no guarantee that they will choke.

I personally favor C9 in that match, but the difference in experience does make people question that decision a lot.

Narrate and bang were two of the biggest question marks for SEN coming from Bangkok, there must have been hundreds of "They can't possibly replace TenZ and Sacy" posts here and on Valcomp. And since those two are also doing really well right now, people are optimistic.

I don't personally put any stakes into the "C9 always chokes in play-offs" narrative and maintain the opinion that they looked very competitive against stronger teams (could have won, even), but you never know.

i just said SEN will just to live on to the meme of C9 choking again. though this time i will genuinely be more surprised if C9 somehow go 0-2 in playoffs. if they even win 1 then thats fine

Honestly, I feel like SEN are a team with a higher upside compared to c9. If SEN's plays to their peak I think they can beat alot of top teams, however, they've been inconsistent. Even I'm picking c9 bc its the safer pick, but it won't be an upset if SEN do win.
