better way to phrase it is that his teammates help him unlock his true potential which can be said for duelists like kk who had s1mon to support him and zekken who had zellsis tenz sacy set him up. in his case it’s jonah

Derke is still easily the best EMEA duelist right now, just because he isn't a tryhard statpadder with zero impact kills like Minibum doesn't mean that he wouldn't wipe the floor of the studio they play at with any duelist he fights against in matches that actually matter
Aspas wasn't good in 2024, got diffed numerous times and shouldn't be included in top 10 players of 2024 or be considered a 2024 superstar
Shart2 will become a bottom tier team once Tejo gets nerfed
Asia dominance has begun since 2024 and it will only get worse from now on, no EMEA or AMER team will win a trophy ever again

I can agree with most of this apart from the end emea and Americas are still dominant in international wins for a reason, and I’m willing to bet that pacific wont be the winner of Toronto but instead it will be a emea or Americas team
