It was made by Fnc In 2024 after watching TH vs KC

Forsaken running yoru since 2022

I thought forsaken was the reason why Yoru was used more in pro play

It was there all along it just took a bit for people to figure it out

Yoru was supposed to be meta from his release, teams were blind tho

Teams didn't felt use Yoru bcuz how difficult it is to use it at 100% but when Tejo released coaches started figure out where to fit and which agent suits with him, FNC playing Yoru was good push for Yoru pick rate but I think it's on team if can play yoru or not FNC playing Yoru have given coaches the idea of how to play yoru but it's on players if they can play Yoru.
It is very hard to play solo Yoru so Coach Autumn decided to run double duelist to ease of the work and also DRX played solo Yoru but they crumbled

The reason why yoru is meta now, is cuz how nerfed NEON JETT and RAZE has become if they were still good teams would be running them,YORU was just left untouched that's why he is meta now cuz all other duelists got nerfed

yoru counters vyse aswell so that’s another reason to use him

its a shame the best yoru player in vct doesnt even use him that often because he has to flex for his shitty team

You can always find historic examples of teams pulling out niche Yorus alongside another duelist whether on Bind, Breeze, Pearl, Split, etc. G2 are the first team that are successfully running SOLO Yoru on the majority of maps though and it only works because their utility usage and surplus from Tejo + Flash Initiator is clinical.
