can someone explain how is TLN 2nd not NS? They released the pickems already so I guess it's finalized

I think it's because they lost h2h against T1 and Talon, maybe it works like this

4 way tie-breaker between rrq, Talon, t1, ns. After they decide that rrq #1 seed based on map diff then it's just Talon>T1>NS

so they just decided rrq is 1st based on map diff and then used h2h for the other three? Doesn't make sense right
It's a 4 way tie already so just based on map diff Rrq>>ns>T1>tln

apparently 4 team tie breaker, team with most map difference first. Now there are only 3 teams left, so it will be considered as 3 team tie breaker, so based on h2h, so because Talon beat NS and T1, they are 2nd.

This format just doesn't make sense....if u r using map diff as basis just place them according to the map differential right? If rrq beat all the other 3 teams then it would make sense to place them 1st but they lost to NS

It makes sense bro.
Tln beat T1 and NS. if they're 4th, it's weird

4 way = RRQ #1 (map diff)
RESET
3 way = TLN #2 (h2h)
if TLN #4 it's doesn't make sense bc TLN beat NS and T1

#23

and NS being 4th despite beating rrq and having better record than TLN n T1 makes sense?

why tf would the team that beat the others be below them on standings if they have the same record

are you taking about tln or rrq?
Rrq lost to Ns right?

what do you not understand, rrq has the best map split, then talon ns and t1 are tied so talon who beats both is second

I'm looking at this like
Rrq +3 map diff (clear 1st seed)
Ns nd t1 both +1 map diff but NS 2nd cos better round diff
Tln +0 map diff so 4th

But you can’t just give RRQ special treatment by giving them Map diff and than suddenly remove that for every team and go back to H2H, it screws over nongshim who literally beat RRQ and have a better map record than TLN. It doesn’t matter that TLN beat both NSR and T1 because it undermines the fact that NSR beat RRQ (best team of the group)

On a 4 way tie everyone should be organized with map diff and round diff if needed instead of not applying the same rules to others.

So, If you want NS #1 seed, TLN and T1 beat your best team then
This H2H rule is best in this situation

that's not the point, either way sticking with a single basis to decide the 4 way tie breaker should be the priority, not just separating the 1st seed using map diff and then using h2h to decide the rest 3

4-1 Map differential. RRQ and TLN exits 4-way tie due to having the highest and lowest map differential.

4-(a) Reduced to 2 teams. T1 NS are tie. Utilize H2H data.

  1. RRQ 2. T1 3. NS 4. TLN

it's not that hard bro just do the map diff (round diff in case of tie breaker) and stop overcomplicating stuff
