i do not want to defend NRG. i think that the environment fns and co created was toxic for verno and painted him as a villain when the team didn't perform as expected.

this culture that these washed up CS pros create is terrible; it doesn't even look like NRG has fun. They treat it like a job which you can't with how creative valorant is. Take that mindset to tier 2 NA cs where they were at (except ethan). This same culture hurt players like Demon1 and can't wait to see M80 get ruined as well

but you dont go from "no comms" to "midrounder" and even sometimes overcalling the igl (seen that he was allowed to outcall artzin from the mibr vlog)

that's true, we know that he already could do that back at nrg. all i'm saying is that we don't actually know how he was on the daily basis, what if out of frustration he was less motivated or something

regardless, he is really fckn good, mibr was actually so lucky to get him out of this situation lol

I think it might have actually been bonkar that was holding him back from changing because from what NRG and others have stated it was bonk that kept defending verno and not actually telling him what needed to be fixed

i like how mibr invested in him by letting him take over and completely changing the language in the comms even if it makes it uncomfortable for xenom and cortezia but with their mechanical skill they can keep up and their basic english still works when giving comms

Honestly, ever since the news came out that the communications would be in English I hated it, but I see that it's working, the communications are flowing, so I don't see any bad points.
