Having JohnQT play initiator to help with midrounds actually hurts them, and the adjustment is probably why they sucked earlier

Zellsis is obviously one of the midrounders and was initiator (or the sentinel on like icebox, but KJ is more of a mid leaning agent on that map)

Anyways, SEN becoming stagnant in the midround, is because Zellsis is simply the better midrounder, and he's now playing away from the pack.

I don't see a reason in keeping zellsis if you're going to continue to struggle calling against top teams, he offers way more value in the initiator role than JohnQT does

Either JohnQT Sentinel, or sign a sentinel who can provide more value, since Zellsis' role has diminished

Finally someone said it. JohnQT is ruining SEN with his ego

nrg did this in 2023 and ended up going 1-3 in the regular season then switched back to normal and won 5 following games

in a game vs mibr they played 3 different players on killjoy lol

I think all of it just comes down to the fact that john is a better aimer, more agressive lurker and better contacting player than Zellsis is. I think both of them are good at inititator but john is just better sentinel than zellsis. Thats why you are seeing this version of SEN as a more pack heavy style rather than 1-3-1, 4-1s they used to do with older team.
But they are doing this for a reason, they tried N4RRATE on sentinel first, then N4RRATE on flex and John on scan+tejo, now in stage 1 N4RRATE is playing more scan+tejo and John is flexing. They've certainly tried john on senti and N4RRATE and Zellsis at initiator combo in scrims but it looks like this is the best version they think the team can be. I think you should just trust Kaplan and johnqt at handling the role situations better since they've shown they can pull off a role change of a player in team with TenZ, also we dont know the scrim results and what else goes on the team inside.
