I feel like they have already lost their identity of being the PRX we know and loved back in 2022 - 2023. They've been too focused on trying to win in order to please the fans rather than actually having fun on LAN which made them actually good because they didn't really care about results back then, but rather just having fun and play matches like its ranked. In my opinion, the only way to save this team is to go back to their roots. They used to be the most creative team with obscure comps and their signature w-gaming playstyle but from what I've seen from the matches from kickoff to stage 1, I didn't really see any of those being shown during their matches, which ultimately made them less enjoyable for me to watch in my perspective. The current roster is still pretty good, but they should really think things out carefully on how are they gonna bounce back.
Is Paper Rex actually done?
I totally agree, it's much more Yoru defining the current meta than Tejo. And it's not necessarily because he's stronger than the other duelists, (although he probably is also that given how versatile gatecrash is).
I think the biggest factor right now is that there are so many good agents you can't fit everything into one comp, and Yoru helps to alleviate that by putting Entry, Flashes and a very strong info ult on one slot so you can run strong agents that don't check boxes in your flex slot without having to make big sacrifices.
Making up for Haven Iso, Deadlock Split, and the poor info of Breach/Tejo comps are the most obvious examples of this.
Or if you're KC you miss the "strong" part entirely and he's making up for the Harbor
i have just accepted my prx is gone im just here for f0rsaken at this point i remember there thought process against fpx was just to have fun the fact that they were finalist and were actually good was just a added bonus so it turned into a positive feed back loop the more they got better the more fun they had the more fun they had the more they wanted to play they were vibing in all there games even against EG they were more serious but not by much i think the hate got to them with jingg leaving too they didnt care before
it looks like burnout to me but idk
the bme game has some bright points for results if they sub in mf there roles would be better but smth needs to go on full inti duty and play jett aside from that and if that works its great and if not let him go to another team with patmen in there vibes also look good so thats some hope
