Simon was benched because edg wanted a flex player, who would play other roles as well not cuz he was a bad initiator,as a initiator his utility was very good,now with shrimp I would agree with u

Yeah, I think EDG wants to lean into the Yoru meta and Kangkang is uncomfortable on that role

other than that, Jieni looks about on the same level as Simon so not a big deal

like another user said Shr1mp has played worse than expected and FPX is in an uncomfortable spot right now for Toronto, EDG/NOVA/BLG/TE all look like solid contenders and FPX is desperate for a lifeline imo
