Shit's getting tiring when u see the same narrative a million times, we need better storylines amd T1 vs G2 proved why storylines matter for international events, but not fuckign Valorant turning into League
Part of the struggle is with Valorant being a Riot game, so for many casual fans they’ve most likely seen LoL esports and their ecosystem. This is also probably their first fps they’ve watched so seeing Korea dominate in the first split of APAC and securing a masters trophy as well as Asian teams winning the last two internationals prior, they probably see parallels and start speculating from there. Too early to tell since there’s distinct parity at the end of playoffs but in terms of looking at winners of each event only that’s what most casual fans hone in on.
