It's a final MVP trophy than a full tournament MVP trophy. They should just rename the award and it will be fine.
Wasn't even the 2nd best player on EDG at champs he broke the kill record and did nothing else worth an mvp he's still a great player obviously but he's just not the mvp for edg
they obviously weigh the grand final the most, Chichoo and Smoggy were better throughout the tournament but KK was still really good and consistent throughout every series

He still was not the best player in the whole tournament. He was in the final but not the whole tournament. I would have Chichoo and Smoggy over him if it's about whole tournament MVPs. That's speaking only from his team, few guys outside his team too.

Tbh IZU was kind of getting his ass kicked whenever he was playing C site on Lotus, but aside from that he was great, very underrated player
Played a majority of roles and better than Meteor despite the majority of T1's system being centered around him robbed of an mvp
it's weird to me too, just seems like players with more clout on the winning roster get it
Most of these MVP's are to push narratives. Riot is clearly trying to push KK as the "Faker" of China and force the back to back Masters winner story on Meteor
