Playing significantly worse than he did in champs. With no real reason other than just underperforming. Nobody is igl, s1mon doesn’t need to frag his util is near perfect. Smoggy not fragging is honestly kinda unacceptable in his position. Honestly he was better than this last year when EDG weren’t good.

1%. They won champs and would still have placed well in this tournament even if they lose to T1. They'd have him ride out 1 or 2 more tournaments before risking a change.

If Smoggy gets dropped that means they need to have someone to replace him right after which I don't think there's any other players atm that are in EDG's eyes, cause remember, Smoggy's easily top 10 in VCT CN. S1mon already felt like a rare find for EDG to fill in for Haodong

Honestly Smoggy was really underwhelming this Masters aside from a few maps, but there's no chance he's getting dropped. If anything I think there's a higher chance that Simon would be next on the chopping block but I doubt they would risk a roster change unless their performances get increasingly worse (if they place much lower in Toronto or bomb out in Paris for example).

There's issues EDG needs to fix and a roster change isn't the solution.

gonna be honest its like way too early. Its the first masters and realistically speaking do you see any other chinese team even close to EDG? EDG org would be crazy to drop anyone and not just work on their teamplay more.
