I just find it funny how the two most notable yoru believers in vct when it was hated on for being bad and now yoru is meta and neither get to play it

2023 EG made Yoru work the best before he became meta, PRX and TenZ made the pick look dogshit most of the time

I'm just talking about them being big believers in it. But I wouldn't go that far to say it was shit bc sen's bind comp was pretty good prior to the skye nerf

pre skye nerf SEN has only ever played Yoru Bind once in VCT post franchising and that was in LCQ 2023 vs 100T who also played Yoru Bind so idk why we’re huffing glue here

Even if they only played it once, the comp has good ideas behind it. DRX even picked it up in 2023 Champs and got wins with it using some of sen's ideas. I'm not claiming that it was insane but the plan behind the comp is good and if you can't accept that then that is on you

yeah it was dogshit but mid at best if the enemy sucked hard enough. it’s why he stopped playing it until it became meta after EG popularized the pick again with their Pearl comp

Well they also played entire 2024 kick off tourney with yoru bind and pretty much won every game before gekko became meta and tenz switched to gekko for madrid and in 2023 asuna played yoru bind and well it did not provide much impact as tenz yoru did on that lck game

yoru was hated for being bad cuz it was bad, tenz isnt the smartest tool in the shed in that regard lol, he's gone through a lot of patches and is good now compared to other duelists

Yoru is only meta now because they hard nerfed Jett and Raze.

I still can't believe they got rid of Raze satchels. It took a lot of skill to be good with satchels.
