PRX are the SEN of Pacific. Huge fanbase but they give the team a poor reputation. Personally, I love the roster but can never support them because of the fans, especially after the Flashback situation.

I don't want to rehash old drama but basically there were allegations against Flashback right before Champions Seoul 2024 and PRX fangirls called for him to be removed with no proof. It was later determined that he is innocent.

Nah people liked EG. Their rise from bottom-feeders to champ winners was insanely hype as it happened over the course of the year. Some people didn't like Demon1, but most people either didn't care or thought it was mildly amusing.

I still wouldn't call them most beloved though. PRX during that time with Jingg supposedly having to leave for military service was probably even more beloved at the time.

I think people liked EG only after they won and looking back at their year. I remember that during the tournaments of Masters Tokyo and Champions LA no one wanted them to win outside of the NA fanbase.

Fnatic were the beloved superteam with silly dancing Boaster and PRX were always very popular because of their playstyle, LOUD were also an iconic powerhouse in the game. Their underdog story is really cool but at that time it got overshadowed by the "anime villain Demon1"as he got almost all the credit.
