China was getting overhyped because PRX got 13-1'd by DFM... NRG lost to C9... 80% of emea looked horrid, Furia did worse than a T2 team... And 2g looked like the worst team to touch the game. Made China look decent.

I think EDG trolling early made it seem more competitive. EDG barely implemented new comps and still managed to get 1st seed, the early 13-4 13-4 from Trace made people way more confident about the overall level of the region
