In my completely unbiased opinion, I dont think it'll ever get any better than 2023, will it? Very first year of franchising where everyone's making super teams, and EG who were literal nobodies win champs, Fnatic vs Loud, Fnatic dominance, PRX hitting their prime, NRG vs Billy billy, Loud comes back to beat their unbeaten rivals TWICE in the same tourney, EG beat Prime PRX to win it all.

Does anyone actually disagree realistically?

wasnt the question based off storylines and viewership? it only makes sense the competition improves every year, 2023 eg wouldve dog walked any teams from previous years, and vice versa 2025 G2 and Vit would shit on anyone from 2024

blessed to see prime optc (prime yay, prime marved, prime crashies, prime victor, prime (?) FNS)
blessed to see prime loud (pancada was in his prime, aspas + sacy + less is devious, saadhak calling insane)
blessed to see OG el classico (loud v optc)
blessed to see zeta division's cinderella run
blessed to see benkai's walkouts and the rise of prx
blessed to prime eu fpx vs prime og drx multiple times
blessed to see pre-franchising have more team variety

fuck the chamber meta but now that's its over i hate myself for missing it

After 2024, just about anything can look competitive and fun. That year was so incredibly weak. The only consistent team was GenG and even then...

But 2025 does look like a great contender to make it even more entertaining and competitive than 2023 by looking at these teams!

Best era was Optic/Gambit era. So 2021-2022, also when val was peak as a game. Now it's dying only thing keeping it alive is its esport scene.
