glad to see rito go the volvo road and just give skins instead of actual updates, less go my drilla, ohnepixel at champs paris, here we go
yeah im ngl idk whats been going on recently, it feels like riot used to be like how marvel rivals devs are now
it is worth pointing out the skins people are different to the devs, but honestly its not a good look on the surface
game gets older, developer thinks the game is good enough not to update, results in a stronger corebase but rejects most new players who go after more active games (which is the reason why games like CS hold a consistent player base but then games like deadlock/rivals/helldivers just switch who is on top)
yeah, i think its complacency plus some management stuff
i remember a former riot dev posting on here or reddit saying that they were removing devs from valorant to go work on another project
sucks that because of this valorant (and cs for the same reason) aren't as big as they could be. Like give val a replay system and give cs a proper anti cheat and these 2 games will be even bigger
that might actually happen
has more chance of happening then me finally actually quitting vlr for good this time
