Yeah its great
Its a bit old and does have some typical high school segments and fanservice but the story is great characters are very interesting, unique power system and goated ending
It's pretty political/serious but it has great characters and writing

Good plot and mech animation. everything else is complete garbage
What more do u want? Like genuinely asking
character design suks, hurt my eyes to watch, and i did not care about any character cus they all are lame
