Step 1. Identify 30 of the best F/A players in the region and sort them into 6 teams. Considering how many orgless teams there are in T2 you can probably get the best 30/50 T2 players in a region.
—OR—
Identify the 6 best orgless teams in the region.
Step 2. Offer each player $30,000 dollars to play for you, totaling $900,000.
Step 3. Have each group only play 1 comp and 1 map. Let them be the ultimate one tricks. Have the practice the map with the comp 24/7, the groups do not play with eachother
Step 4. Perma ban the map you don’t have one of your groups play, change your roster mid match depending on what map it is

Stage 1 NA 1st place Prize pool in 2024: $11,000
Stage 1 NA 1st place Prize pool in 2024: $20,000
A tier one ascension spot + roster is worth around $1,000,000
$1,031,000 - $900,000 = $131,000 profit

Paying them 30,000 for the whole year is the thing they won't agree to. That's not enough, especially in the US of A.

Well considering many of the players get paid nothing, many people would accept

$30k isn’t a lot for 8 months salary I agree, but a lot of T2 players do this part time because they go to uni, and a $45k annual salary for part time isn’t that bad

30K a year? Someone at costco is making more than you

bro 30k a year is like $14.50 an hour full-time which is poverty level in the US (not actually, but you can't live with that unless you live in the middle of nowhere)
from what I know most pros work 60-70 hours a week praccing, playing, reviewing etc meaning even being generous that's $9.60 an hour or as low as $8.25

Tier 1 pros, most T2 players do it part time

sounds like a ton of commitment and time, and I mean sure it's better than nothing but I don't think you'll find a group of players that can beat a good salaried t2 team even when they practice 24/7

Yea it was mostly a meme post of a funny idea I had, but considering the success of rankers and Nabil being the highest rated player in stage 3 while being a uni student, it could actually be possible 🤷‍♂️

I think the people later down who are saying doing this with full time players in a cheaper region are probably on the right path
