Nah. They got hard read and the meta was in for EG and PRX. Its still possible they would have won but unlikely

i said this in another post:

loud anti'd them really well but fnatic looked extremely shaky after the group stage. like one example was getting 13-1'd by drx on fnatic's map pick. they pretty clearly were not the same dominant team from tokyo.

That’s part of what made fnatic good, they could lose 13-1 and still win the series they were resilient and could comeback. That wasn’t their first time being down that much and still winning (lock in)

when i was watching champs that year i felt like they relied heavily on heroics to bail them out. yeah they were resilient but i don't think they would have beaten eg or prx if they avoided loud

lets me say fnatic is best B05 team ever.....lost 2 times in whole VCT(I want to assume 2023 league final was a troll cause TL would never beaten FNATIC and we saw how Fnatic went in TOKYO after

2021 REJKJAVIK was the other B05 lost .....although score line says it was easy ...was not cause all 3 games went close 2 rounds difference both

so EG for sure no chance to win that....PRX might have been their kryptonite
if at least one of their losses to loud didn't happen I belive FNC reaching BO5 was game over......if they won EG would be other opponent

look even in 2024 stage 1 they were mid and when BO5 came it HAPPENED
