TLN might make a lower bracket run but I think it's pretty unlikely at this point

It's not that they don't mind, I'm sure they don't
but the last time we really had a home team do well was Champs 2023 tbh

I feel like one of the few advantages of having an 8 team tournament would be that even teams who don't make it too far still get a decent amount of playtime (in comparison to teams that do make it far)

The crazy thing about the six teams still left in contention is that there's TALON and there's 4 Korean teams and a mixed Korean-Japanese team

They probably don't mind. But they really need to fill the venue tho. SEA T2 scene is already in not a good spot rn, and empty crowds on masters Bangkok? Yeah, Riot will leave the region asap.
