Boostio on 100T vs EG

Boostio has persistently said 100T rn is the most talented team hes been on, and he says it in a extremely confident/sure way. What do you guys think? Has he been just trying to build confidence in his team, or does he genuinely think 100T could be/is better then 2023 EG? what would make him be so sure of this. Doesnt seem like seem like a joke given idt theres a punchline if that makes sense. also doesnt seem like a bait.

better than 2023 eg is a stretch, but 100t had a really good moments at kickoff. with time i think they could be dominant

demon 1 no. jawgemo is arguable, but i don't think so too. eeiu is miles better than ethan

recency bias is crazy, what are these opinions
demon1 is way more consistent than cryo and has a higher peak, cryo just farms dogshit teams
asuna < jawgemo arguable? are you serious?
the only one remotely arguable is eeiu being better than ethan

i said that demon1 is better
jawg yes is arguable he was pretty inconsistent as a duelist last year and asuna is not bad at all (although he has more luck than actual skill) but to me jawg is better

but i've said in another comment below: EG 23 feels like a bunch of ordinary players on a system that max potentialized them (except demon1, an actual generational talent). while 100t feels like all of them could be starplayers

good point, but when I think of players rn(barring the difficult comparisons given how role-swappy eg 2023 was) eeiu>com, cryo=demon1?, jaw>asuna, boostio=boostio, ethan>zander? .... head to head i feel like eg still wins tho.

yeah is kinda weird to compare different roles. but what i feel is that EG is a lightning bottle situation. aside from demon1, all the players are ordinary and got their max potential extracted by the collective, while 100t i feel like all the players could be superstars if they make the right choices

its not a bait, boostio is pretty clear when he's joking or baiting. i don't think he's necessarily wrong, individually they're all really talented players. Cryo is mechanically one of the best in NA, Boostio is a solid IGl that frags out when needed, eeiu is a T5 support player right now, asuna can literally fuck up teams with his playstyle, and zander has shown extreme promise when people thought he couldn't step up to bang. while I think part of it is to build confidence because when you think you're the best you try to play like it, I also think there's some truth although we cant really see anything from them for like a month because of Riot's formatting. I think we can all see where 100 Thieves place once this season plays out, because we haven't seen much but when they play at their best they are really fucking scary.
