china itself is too big of a region and it's esports market is too big as well so cn shouldn't be merged with any other countries. only way val can become as big as league or reach near to it is through china scene.

I had the same idea! If they ever split the scenes it'd probably be like apex legends. But that might cause a huge imbalance because north becomes super stacked so idk

consequences of making the league on kr this is not surprising and kind of the reason why SEA looked promising and in growth but slowly withered to become a tier 2 10 slot league with 3 slots for academy teams, same way that NA seems to have a new wave of young cracked players and SA teams only rely on academys and a few orgless teams, in emea everything is very close tho so there isnt really a change its a small continent after all in terms of territory and every country has decent ping on most servers.

KR will not fully take over unless the SEA + JP teams give up on being competitive.

If that happens, KR's level MIGHT regress bc of the lack of competition

KR dominating APAC will NOT help them in the long run

This was really correct though. this is what happen to south Asian valorant scene sort of.
Few countries got bankrupt(including mine) and most of the countries cannot play in Indian servers.(our indian servers ping is 110+)
competition only kept in India. so competition was low. but at least it get bit good because lot of sea talents got scouted for Indian orgs.

Same will apply for here. because region wise/country wise/team wise playstyles gonna be different.
if one region dominate in Asia it will be less competitive and internationally that dominated region going to be struggle.

sea overall i think has lower salaries and contract jails. and also current soop initiative not help sea talent even more
