The series began on Lotus, Team Secret's pick. RRQ had some recent film on Lotus, as it was one of the two maps they dropped in their upper quarterfinal loss to Gen.G Gen.G Korea Rank #1 Foxy9 Jung Jae-sung (정재성) t3xture Kim Na-ra (김나라) Munchkin Byeon Sang-beom (변상범) yoman Chae Young-moon (채영문) Karon Kim Won-tae (김원태) . RRQ gave up just five rounds on defense against Gen.G, but Team Secret managed eight. Still, the attack-sided map showed its T-side bias. In the second half, RRQ won five of the first eight rounds to close the gap to two rounds, but a moment of heroics from a Team Secret veteran got them to match point.

On Haven, Rex Regum Qeon continued their momentum. Beginning the map on attack again, they picked up where they left off. While it wasn't quite as dominant as the 11 rounds they won on Pearl, they entered halftime with an 8-4 lead.

Even after switching sides, RRQ never lost momentum. They went on to win the next five rounds on defense, closing the map 13-4, and eliminating Team Secret.
