fighting games are a pretty big pillar of esports tho. this is like saying Korea isn't good at esports back in like 2001 because they were only good at StarCraft...or something
yup its a cultural problem. their orgs are not as ambitious as korean and chinese also still new to esports compared to the established name from korea and china like T1 or Tyloo
It's not just about ambition. Most eSports are based on PC gaming and PC gaming scene was and is still not that big in Japan. Also eSports is still not big or serious thing in there.
do they even achieve anything in mobile scenes? sounds like cultural problem for me. their salaries are good, their orgs got the privileges, what else do they need to pamper more lol
i feel really bad for jpn fans man, they even have the most popular tier2 esport scene in the world.
but i do have very high faith on xdll and syouta lets wait and see
