idk if you mean to respond to the guy above, but nowhere in this thread did I shit on brazil. I'm a fan of their teams, but not fans. Much like every other region. I'm not a fan of any other regions because the shit talk tends to be cringy. Shit talk between pros is what I'm a fan of. CoD and gears of war are fantastic for this.

I have much better fps fundamentals than him. He sucks and the truth is the only way to bring some attention to himself is using trashtalking. He is just lucky to have joined the right team. This is not about how many kills you got, it's about how good is your overall performance based on all those fps fundamentals we all (should) know. Plus, his impact is below average compared to his teammates and other NA players doing the same role.
nitr0 and vanity are also better than him and I just said that it isn't about kills. I can't say about any others because I just watch big matches from NA, so I have no clue about "Tier 2 NA scene" and I don't want to be unfair, so if I'd say about someone just because I liked a couple random matches in any random championship.
Neither of them are better in terms of util usage. Nitro, by far better mechanically. Vanity, mechanically too tbh. Util wise, Zombs is probably NAs best Astra.
I can see how vanity is close to him and marved in performance. All 3 are by far the top 3 controllers in Na.
It's what always set zombs out from the rest. He wasn't a mechanical player, but util was always perfectly timed, and executed well.
utility is just one of the fundamentals he should have dominated, but in fact is the only good he has. He can't considered a good astra with only that because he is no longer playing MOBA (Overwatch) to rely only in this. In the end of the day, if things start to get hard he will be the first one to be kicked, because it's better have someone with many more fundamentals developed and can contribute with much more things than a guy who is the best in a single fundamental, but below average in many others.
Did you watch the matches today/yesterday. He wasn't dropping 15 a match. However he also wasn't just rolling over and dying. impact on a character isn't always paper stats. we dont know the impact he can bring behind the screen.
We say he's one of the best astras, because he's proven that.
Look back at previous events, and the previous lan matches. His stats aren't great. However stats on his role aren't always meant to be great.
Marved is probably the best mechanical controller in Na right now. his stats aren't that much better than zombs. 1.05kd vs 1.0.
However I do agree that Zombs would be the first person to be replaced on the team. It will either him being replaced, or shaz retiring. The other 3 will most likely stay longer than Zombs will.
But again, my main emphasis is on the impact we dont know he has, and can only assume. Same reason Bonkar hasn't been kicked, despite being the worst current pro player in valorant as a whole. His impact as an igl is enough for the team. Maybe zombs impact as a controller is enough, idk.
Mechanically, I'd say marved is the best astra overall. He has good util, good mechanics, etc. Zombs is a better util astra though. His usage of util is insane compared to the region. It's why when it comes to being a controller, he's a better controller. A better player, I'd say marved.
It's genuinely a toss up if you prefer mechanics with a solid util rating. Or a great util rating.
Bro i can already tell that youre a braindead jett main or raze main, controllers always get no recognition for anything they do since they have to so much of the time stay in back site or even in spawn sometiem so that they can provide support to their team or anchor site while everyone else is on the other side of the map contesting for space. Zombs is by far the most impactful astra ive seen yet in the entire vct all his kills are just so vital to all of SEN's rounds
If youre in gold you have no right to talk about a pro level controller that way, this man literally had insane impact in SEN's 0 losses in Iceland
You can cut BR from the title and say "People that are saying shit about zombs are hypocrite" as people normally say. In this way you are just stating the right people.
I didnt say zombs is a bad player, i dont even watch NA valorant. I dont have a opinion on how he plays, today he played good, for example. When you say BR you include everyone, the ones that are talking bad things, the ones that talks good things and the ones that does not care at all, like me.

I think this whole thing is a big misunderstanding from all parts, we have problems in understanding each other point of view, problems in understanding each others languages, culture and etc... I imagine that is a vocal minority that is making everyone hate each other.

Its generalization its something that cant really be stopped it just needs to be understood by the readers. Like when i read it i never once thought that the whole of brazil is super toxic and hypocritical cause obviously that isnt true, its all in the perspective and people just need to be educated to adopt that kind of perspective
