PRX last chance? :(

I just wiped my tears after the last PRX loss, and now I need you guys to be honest with me.
Can this PRX W Gaming 5-stack win an international tournament?
Because if they can’t, I don’t think they’ll stick together after this year.
And if they don’t stick together, I don’t think they’ll be able to find any SEA players to form a team that can compete with Korean squads ever again Korea keep improving so fast non-stop.
Maybe this is their last chance before they fade into obscurity, leaving only some gimmicky lore behind in Valorant esports, rather than a story of greatness or something valuable.

Yeah people will say that it's just having fun but fun isn't only about running it down it's about having the ambition to win more they still think that they don't have to lockin until the land but kickoff this year and kind of last year have shown that everyone is so close to each other skill wise in Tier 1

Hopefully they play well.

There is alot of talent in SEA and if players get dropped after this year other teams will benefit alot from those players

With 4 Korean teams and possibly more next year, it’s going to be very difficult. Even NS is a scary opponent for every team this year. The problem is that when Korean esports start snowballing, they keep everything within their circle and share high-level information only among Korean teams. When you look at OW or LoL, they deny scrims from non-Korean teams to prevent sharing anything valuable.

SEA talents may be able to compete with Koreans on an individual level, but in a team environment, the gap is huge and hard to close.

I dont think Korean Valorant teams will do what korean OW or LOL. What you also have missed is the amount of talent in other regions. Brazil, NA tier 2, Turkey, China. Do i need to continue? SEA has so so much talent only a matter of Time until teams realise that

Not right now but if they get that good they will 100% do that because there are no reason to share information to low tier team that will make their opponents slightly better. they may look friendly but when it get to competitive Koreans are do anything to win no matter what.

I don't believe they have a chance of winning an international tournament this year. This might be a hot take but i really think Alecks should have been replaced a while ago, this is not so much about his ability to coach, even though we could talk about that too, and more about how bad he is for the team's mental.

I know most people are like 'haha alecks mad' but genuinely, if you watch any of the vlogs, it has gotten to the point that the players are visually affected by it. Constantly yelling at your players is not going to help them improve, it's going to end up breaking their mental, hurt the team's cohesion, break their confidence and ultimately make them worry during the game as to what they'll be yelled at for next.

I do believe that if they had a coach who focused on yelling less and more on actual coaching and anti-strat, they would be a viable team to this day.

I understand where you're coming from but as a coach you should also understand that sometimes your players are not going to magically understand their flaws and get better and that your job is to guide them, help them understand what they are doing wrong and how to fix it.

Thats very true BUT he has probably done that multiple times even but at the end of the day it a coaches fault and the players both of them have to step up

But DRX is THRIIIVIIING (im not over exagarating 1 win you are)

something killed 1-2 player at the beginning of a lot of rounds and then kept peeking for no reason when they played def and that cost a lot rounds, they just need to a bit passive sometimes when they playing def side
