i feel like sym’s inconsistency can be attributed to lack of experience so i’ll give him a pass, he’s def talented enough for tier 1 but he needs to shake off the nerves
It’s his play style as well, apparently Sym loves contact duels so if he is having a bad day he underperforms and overperforms if he’s aiming well
Tragic that one bad tournament in the off-season cost him his spot. Understandable move for EG to make, but tragic nonetheless

Also yay was by far the best player in the world statistically that year, mvped Reykjavik and was the best player in the world at champs
You can make a serious argument for yay being a top 3 player at 3 tournaments across 2021 and 2022.
