They wont pick 5 randoms, its not ranked. They have picked up a team that was already training for NA tier2 most likely.

Honestly I don't think first game matters that much. They can't take already signed T2 players so they have to go with 5 unsigned players if it's just one or two games

Just players that aren't signed to an org to make it easier (so they dont have to terminate contracts and make a new one after). Are Turtle Troops, Trust in Plug, Ambrosia, Rankers orgs? I'm not familiar with NA t2
