I was about to get one of the classic, but then saw that the Buddy already had the ( ✓) from last seasons purchase. Honestly thought we would be eventually able to get 1 teams buddies on the whole collection even if it took multiple years.

You're not really getting a discount, the price is just lower because you already own the buddies and spray (so you're really only buying the classic and player card)
