remotely close to being deserving of the "donk of valorant" title. this kid is truly next level, I never saw someone dominate a fps game with this much gap before. super generational talent.
Donk's numbers are crazy. M0nesy is also a beast. And even though Mongolz are out, mzinho was looking fire. No doubt CS2 has some insane talent and Valorant has to catch up on the years of progress CS already has.
However, there are some insane players for the upcoming season and also looking at 2026. Cortezia looks like the Brazilian scream with his recent 70+% headshots. Verno when locked in looks so dominant. DFM are filled in on great Japanese talent. Sayonara could potentially be Leo 2.0 when he turns 18.
Yeah, Sayonara turns 18 in March 2026. Verno is much better on initiator than sentinel. I think they put him on sentinel to try some double init-flash comps, but it doesn't really work too well on a lot of maps. Sayonara is still young and I think it's mostly down to experience when it comes to playing on the big stage against big teams even in off-season. Sayonara has insane aim and his ranked numbers are unbelievable. If he can convert that to pro-scene, he will be amazing.
The age itself is just a parameter. We're talking about some dude who despite being 17, took his rookie year in tier 1 by storm, broke numerous lifetime cs records, put up the most impressive individual performance in a tier s event ever (1.70 in katowice) and took home the major, the mvp and sealed himself as the #1 player of the year while breaking s1mple's record rating at a major (1.47 vs 1.49), all this while being an astronomical gap ahead of any other rifler from the eye test alone, carrying a team that's not particularly favourites if not for him. It's not being a couple months younger than the age limit thats gonna forbid a player from having such a debut year in valorant.
