If I were to buy a $50 League of Legends gift card, could I use it for VALORANT and it would count as a $50 VALORANT gift card?

(Context: the store I go to has $50 gift cards for League of Legends but not VALORANT. I'm saving for a 4350 VP melee but because of exchange rates from USD to CAD the only way I can afford the melee is if I buy a $50 card because it gives you more bonus VP than two $25 cards)
