Champs curse is a 3 year cycle

acend- went on a champs run after having a mid year, immediately afterwards got outclassed by the other teams
loud- lost players and results over a few years, slow torture and death
eg- immediately imploded and none of the players stirred much attention

edg- haven't won a single game since champs...

ik it's offseason, but edg were struggling in lans, and only really won champs bc they were on a run. feel like theyre going to crash and burn next year

i hope not, but its definitely a possibility. also i gotta bring up how disrespectful it was from edg to basically throw against xlg and not give them an actual game. xlg need practice and edg just throw the games.

I found this on Reddit, please research it further yourself

During Map 2 of Saturday's (This Year's) offseason match EDG vs T1, Stax DC'ed a round where EDG won so they rolled back the round. Ngl this would be acceptable if you don't count what happened last year where the entirety of EDG disconnected and the tournament organisers (I think it was a different TO tho?) refused to roll back the round. So yeah, Kangkang is mad at the inconsistent/biased standards of these offseason TOs.

in the shanghai event a few days ago XLG played EDG and it looked like EDG were just throwing the matches for fun or something which caused them to get 2-0ed.

Dont make champ curse a thing loud are doing just fine and alot of eg players are dominating just because they don’t win internationals again means they are cursed its baseless and for edg they had a fluke win carried by one player who popped off what did u expect from them.

I'd argue Ethan when he wasnt IGLing was still performing up to his standard in split 2 and this offseason. He's been consistently a top initiator since his first stint on 100T
