what happened to you, used to agree with your takes but calling mindfreak more stable then mako is actually crazy.
you only see the stats,but i really look at every game and mako is making some aim mistakes now.mf's aim in my opinion is better now.
mindfreaks aim was always better, but when mako is literally better at everything else by a large margin it is not close in my opinion

Nah I've watched every PRX game since 2022 and I can assure you that mindfreak doesn't always play like this, there were some decently long periods where he would go double negative and lowkey lose a map for them at times, but also go like +15 and solo carry
mindfreak was def the goat apac controller in 2023
2024 was karon/split 2 mako
but he's always been top 5 in apac
MF is good asf dont get me wrong and always in the conversation of the best
but I just think MaKo is too insane of a player not to give the top spot.
I don't see what he has over mindfreak honestly, pbb better on some of his agents, but mindfreak's omen and his general util, firepower and clutch potential is just so high

MF has never been above a 1.0 rating internationally since Copenhagen. He was given the most opportunities in APAC and was "consistently" below average. What is he catching up on?

MF has never been above a 1.0 rating internationally since Copenhagen, and more often than not has been in the bottom half of the rankings APAC domestically.
mindfreak overrated af, he has never farmed even a single event, just plays well in the odd game
