but tbh i like the momentum, like thats what makes the sport exciting for me, seeing defenses step up and make plays when they need to even when the cards are down
i think the only reason this sentiment is around is because defenses as a whole were playing really badly the past couple of years on top teams, so it felt like whoever scored first would win, but if you actually have a defense then you should be fine (bengals vs chiefs in the afccg (not the rigged one with the bullshit penalties))
