Switching From Val to LOL

Ive been playing valorant alot for almost everyday but it became mind-numbing to me where I was just theres with no reaction to winning, but today I saw a video of DSG being into franchising for League which means I'll try to play the game of League to understand whats happening in pro play for DSG. I might have missed fakers team winning this years championship but better late than never.

Anyone atleast have any advice for which champion or role to start out on?
