Yeah but never watched cs before valorant I did learn of C9's run afterwards but it's the only thing they did and was still kinda recent (2018)
More like "cheaping out" they look for the more sustainable ways to live
Keep in mind that they compete in 15 different games, and most of them are in NA, where the salaries are higher
If they focused only in Valorant, they'd have much higher salaries and buyouts. That's why they have long contracts with players
That's fair but honestly I don't get why the USA has to be so expensive their salaries do not need to be as big as they are otherwise
most teams are based in LA which increases salaries tenfold due to the insane cost of living there
