Sengoku Gaming have announced that they have picked up Yuran, this comes following Impact's departure the day prior.

Sengoku have been testing out different roster combinations and new players recently at off-season tournaments such as Red Bull Home Ground and Predator League Japan following a respectable third place finish at Challengers Japan after losing at the hands of ZETA's Fennel and the eventual champions Riddle Order. Impact was signed to replace Jinboong but that lasted temporarily as they would later announce his contract expiry suggesting he was there just for the off season.

Yuran was previously on ZETA Division for one season and another couple of months on their academy team before that. His time at ZETA would be particularly uneventful as they would finish 8th in the standings with 3 wins, their most eventful win being against Talon Esports. He most recently played a flash initiator role at ZETA occasionally flexing onto other roles although during his earlier days at ZETA he played Viper only. Yuran is replacing Impact who played sentinel at Sengoku which Yuran doesn't have much professional experience with so it is unsure at this time what role he will be filling.

Sengoku Gaming is now:
Gwangboong - Duelist
Kippei - Controller
NOBITA - Recon Initiator
Misaya - Flash Initiator
Yuran - Unknown (Probably Sentinel)

meltdown - Head Coach
Relife - Coach

*Authors Note - I can't read Japanese so I am unsure what the posters say and I am going off the translated description. I am also not the most educated on Challengers Japan so if you think I should add or remove anything comment below

It might be a questionable move, but I guess what happened was impact's japanese isn't that good ( typical import problem) and Gwangboong had to comm in his stead, so impact was cut for a team and they see something in yuran so they replaced impact with him.

yeah could be, language tends to be a problem in APAC due to no somewhat standard language like at least in EMEA a lot of people speak english and they can somewhat comm while APAC it is not as apparent and their english fluency is a lot lower compared to EMEA. Although Yuran wasn't that good at Zeta that doesn't mean he is a bad player and he could probably use his new tier 1 skills at Sengoku and help them out

I dont think he is a bad player yet, he's just too green 😂, his peers ( caedye, yatsuka aace hiroronn) got to develop themselves at t2 while yuran got thrown in directly at Pacific.

So I think t2 is a very good place for him.

Also that language problem becomes twice as bad in japan because pretty safe to say their English isn't that great and there's not really an incentive to learn English ( outside of valorant), meaning there's a wall between japan and the rest of apac ( this is kinda a blessing in disguise imo 😂😂)

Oh yeah definitely I think this is a good time for him to develop that experience so we might see him in the future in tier 1
