11-6 lead in map 5 of a grand finals, to lose 17-15 vs a 1v3 clutch 5 miliseconds before defuse

ontop of this boom has added higher tier coaches, upgraded the roster massively

but somehow spg top 5 and boom is 12th

i'm guessing it's because boom has histories of choking for years.

yeah but they atleast get in a postition to choke huge games (not that thats good) but historically they have been way better than 2th, even right now i see them being better than a couple apac teams

That's not it
Spg were dominant whole year, on top of the meta and near flawlessly won the ascension whereas boom was always behind the meta using old comps and didn't had a promising run even in Indonesia circuit.
Also so many coaches including champs teams said that spg are a really tough team to play against but I've never heard or seen any coach or players saying anything about boom
Now this doesn't necessarily mean spg are so deadly but just because these inputs, people are putting them way higher on tierlist and boom on bottom

all i can say is, boom relies on teamplay, but often play too passive which make them choke sometimes, need to prove they can do better. On the other hand, nongshim has been relying on raw talent aim and mechanical play when neon was op, which make them also need to prove they can keep up with T1 team.

those tierlist are just preview from performance of team in T2, that somehow compared to T1 team's performance (which is most of the time not valid). Just take it with a grain of salt

its not like theyre only over boom, to place them over proven t1 teams like talon or geng, is weird behavior and has been often

so to illustrate that i closed the gap between them and boom

if you cant handle a counter point without calling it slander youre sensitive

Boom are good for sure, theres a reason i have their flair on, but to be fair when compared to SPG the playstyle isnt comparable at all. SPG are much closer to a tier 1 team whereas boom is a heavy fragging kind of team where if they go against any team that has better players than them they just automatically lose due to a lack of depth and strats.
Not to say i agree that theyre much worse than SPG nor do i agree with them being in 12th place but yea, its a lot easier to believe a disciplined team with good depth will reach further in the season
