Suggestion for VLR Mods

I don't know how the users of VLR would react to this idea, but I want to suggest the implementation of a new, global-scale ranking system similar to that on hltv. You win a certain amount of points for winning/placing anywhere in certain tournaments, and each tournaments will have a certain number of points dedicated to those who win/participate.

Thoughts?

(P . S: All upvotes are appreciated! Don't feel a need to upvote, you can just do so if you want to bump this idea and help it get some traction. Thanks!)

I mean, in a sense, yeah, because the Ranking system here is hot garbage.

hltv system works thanks to the fact there are a lot of events played almost weekly. CS actually has two rankings now, valve and hltv one. HLTV one values consistency over peaks, valve one is pretty much power rankings (which can see teams drop from top 3 to top 10 just cuz they placed top 16 once). Also please note that hltv has a database which rivals big sports journalists, vlr.gg is way smaller
