Lmao, if you're waiting for perfect timing to get VCT-level players ready on their own, it's not going to happen. You have to develop the talent. I'm not even asking them to force Indian players into playing 5; I just want them to run a 10-man roster like EG did back then. They should train the players with international experience to get them exposure how the things work at highest level and if they want to wait for the perfect timing to get a full vct ready player from India that's not happening they have to put in some effort to atleast initialize the process.
They keep making false promises to Indian fans. Last year, they announced the Academy roster and released forms for trials, which many Indian players filled out, but there were no further actions from GE. Eventually, they scrapped the whole idea. This year, they made another empty promise about the Academy roster, and there’s still no progress on the Academy project.
GE is still their team but not their team at the same time.
If GE wins game, it's obviously proud moment for GE fans but if you're thinking GE winning is a good for indian valorant then no it's not.
If GE wins pacific league, no one will think Indians region or players are good. We are still a trash region regardless of GE performance in vct.
it will only be good if GE winning helps them make their GE academy roster come to fruition (basically talking abt the pull of team) , if they loose then no one would want to play for them as much and GE academy dominate the VCL SA region and Ascension as the owner said academy roster will be full Indians playing
it will have a good impact for indian valorant, GE academy will scrims a t1 roster for free and the academy team will consist a full indian roster and from that ge might produce a young talent capable enough to fight in t1 so having indian on the team or not it will be good for indian scene as a whole
thats the ideal plan. It is hard as no parents in India would allow full time gaming at the age of 16-17 , they prolly need like 2-3 very young kids and then 20+ aged players so that they can consistently play and guide these young demons when their parents finally allow them to leave for bootcamps and others stuffs.
Given how much difficult it is for a normal middle class family to take risks, eSports is a big risk for them. Also the societal pressure is unreal in India. Some how GE brings together cracked younguns and care for their education along with their playing time , i think 4-5 yrs later we can dream of Indian roster for VCT but for now i dont think anyone is capable enough to shoot heads against top dawgs of Pacific

GE as an Indian org should take initiative of developing tier2 talents in India and make them tier1 ready by training them with the international players.

I have never supported GE, now more than ever I hate their guts. Indian esports is doomed, we have no good players, no good coaches. Our so called pro players openly say they don't grind ranked, like mf what are you doing with your life? Imagine being in IT and then saying I hate coding! Like sort your priorities you absolute wankers!
There are some good players still left in the scene but the problem is they are not being developed in a competitive environment.
If GE help such players provide them coaches train them under academy roster and develop their talent it can help our local scene a lot but our dear pushindra is so deep into international roster he doesn't give a fk about SA tier 2 scene.
I understand that he needs to invest more into the Pacific roster but he is even shit in doing that too.
So my guy is single handedly fking up into two regions SA as well as Pacific
