I am bored asf and still will take 2h to I leave.
So there is a random tread, if you are below 18, please, take it easy in alchool.
When we are minors, alchool doesnt effect us much, so we drink non-stop thinking "i am strong", but you arent, all the effects will come to you later.
So please, even if you friends is getting drunk, you dont need to do it also, take it easy.

You dont need to look cool at parties, people dont care to you, so just enjoy parties in you limits.

socialization and workplace culture often bring people together through drinking, and it eases up the atmosphere

on the other end, people socialize when stressed or when coping, and that's when it becomes an addiction and detrimental in the long-run. relieving stress via alcohol can promote γ(gamma)-aminobutyric acid, aka GABA, disinhibiting/activating the VTA dopamine.

basically it makes your dopamine desensitized and is the cause of alcohol tolerance, which makes you need more alcohol (a depressant) to produce the same "low" you feel when getting drunk, which leads to a cycle of increased alcohol doses and "cravings" for the dopamine hit.

Im not 18 and i drank in france.
Alcohol affects your mental and ur performance very heavily, tbf it feels very good while it lasted but it is very bad for you. You are going to look like a clown if you dont control urself

Well obviously. Just don't seek it out as a coping mechanism and you're good. Drinking occasionally with friends and drinking occasionally for taste/pleasure are fine. It's not alcohol's fault that many people lack self-control.

off course you dont have to, but as a brazilian its hard to socialize without it. i drink since my 14y but while i was a minor it was just little doses, you have to manage to not became an addict, its not easy when you are a minor i agree, but its possible

Depends how much you drink. Im 6'2 around 220-230 pounds and Ive never had more than a few drinks and the most ive ever gotten was slightly tipsy. Know your limits, if your boostio in height and tenz in weight dont drink a lot, if your mada in height and leaf in weight go crazy.

i drank one can of beer while at party (its more of a dinner, chinese typa of thing) with family and friends and basically I played dark souls 1 for the first time (my first ever souls experience) and everytime I died I sipped a bit. in the end I died 24 times and this happened last year as a farewell because I was moving to aus so I was 15 at the time

If you are above 18, you can drink all you want.
I also just drink in ocassions, but at least one of five events i do with my friends, happens the:

"Lmao, lets do like this, who losses drink a shot of cachaça, or, give money.

Generally happens in poker.

I started drinking beer before 18 and only drank half of it at the time. then kept only having beers avoiding other alcohols like vodka, whisky etc but then started to use them as well. but yet to date, I'm not addicted and things like "Yeah I should get a beer today" are not coming to my mind at all. I just drink only when it's available, I mean at parties, friend gatherings, birthday parties, etc.

I only enjoy drinking when paired with an event, (VLR fourm, so i'll give watching VCT as an example), Board games, movies, fun time with girlfriend etc. When i first turned 18 the first few alcohol sessions was just because we could and it was so fucking boring.

I'm a light weight with booze which is so nice as i feel buzzy after one drink
