a couple of years ago, my friend from italy came to stay with me for the summer. we were listening to some song and he dropped the n word. i immeadietly was like "dude wtf you can't say that" and he was like "wait what why?" he didnt know it was racist and he said he said it all the time. he didn't say it to be racist, he just didn't know that the word was bad. also i feel like it's been two years. we should give the guy a second chance+he's been doing stuff to reform in that sense

for the nudes thing, i think that 16 and 14 is bad, but they were both minors at the time. you can argue that if you're 16, you're old enough to know not to ask for nudes from a 14yr old, but they were both minors. i swear the val community is so two faced. i thought that if you're both under 18, the only thing you can say is that it's weird, not pedophilia. also, it was a two year age gap, not a 5 year.

you can choose not to like the guy, but wanting to cancel him and call him a pedo is insane. just give the fucker a second chance and the second he does something bad, we can all jump on him

theres a reason people under 17 dont go to jail (unless extreme cases obv). They are less mature and responsible. No reason to punish someone by taking away their job for it

Was he racist? Yes
Was he a pedo? No
Was he weird af? Yes
Does he deserve the hate? Not anymore

And to answer your question, yes, there is a lot of people in Europe, at least in Spain(which is what I can talk about) that have absolutely no clue of what the N word means. I’d say most middle aged adults haven’t even ever heard it. And for the majority of the population it’s just a word they’re heard in songs.

That being said, that was definitely not Kamo’s case, he knew what he was saying

I can somewhat agree with the minor allegations and stuff, but the racism was obviously meant to be hurtful/derogatory. Dropping the n word in a song and calling someone a dirty dumb n-word are not even remotely similar let's be serious. I think most people deserve second chances, but don't just try to downplay it.

I think it's fair to dislike him but to think he doesn't deserve a chance on an org because of things he said years ago (and people develop really quickly at that age) is weird

there is a difference between dropping the n word in a song and calling somebody a dirty n-word

Liquid CEO also added that he personally asked higher ups on KOI on kamos character and they said they had no issues with kamo and the CEO also mentioned that Riot made an investigation in his behavior and they said he doesn't need further punishment due to making an effort towards improvement
