I remember Valorant being massive in Japan yet they still lack many good t1 talents and it’s not like the Japanese scene is underdeveloped either so what went wrong?

japan does have a weird issue of viewing esports as just entertainment instead of something to aspire to play, japanese owcs also has this same issue where people watch the game for fun instead of actually playing it. my theory is that due to the working culture people dont have time to actually play the game so instead they just watch it

I would say this year they should be more competitive, relying more on cracked tier 2 talent
- Management by both dfm and zeta are shit
- Talents are there it's just very dispersed across tier 2 teams
- Playerbase not that big but growing (idk lmao)

- Esports more like spectator sport so doesn't translate to playerbase getting bigger
nah all those talent went to fortnite wait till those kid turn 18-19 or even 20 cuz they cant compete even tho there reaction time is faster than me after finding some food
