Derke was loyal to FNC for 4 years, consistently performing for them, often times having to carry the team in 2021/2022, took them to 3 grand finals and won 2 trophies with them, and they repay him by benching him but still contract jailing him to block him from joining a team that could be better than FNC. FNC are refusing to sell Derke to VIT despite that being the only team he wants to play for this season, meaning they basically benched him from their roster and are refusing to let him join the only team he's willing to play for

since mid-21 one of the few constants in vct has been that derke was a top 3 duelists itw or up there anyways, why would the kick him?
makes way more sense if he just wants a new challenge

from derke's pov it does make some sense,
guy's been playing for fnatic for 3 years and maybe hasn't won as much as he'd hoped.

fnatic's best finish at a major tournament this year was the quarters in champs, he's deffo better than that,
highest acs both majors they were in, this man SHOOTS.

wouldn't surprise me if it was his decision to look for a move to a team that can aim higher,
real risky though, especcially because he ain't leaving a bad team, fnatic are good and can aim much higher next year, but i'd understand it if it was his decision,

that's all.

there was no "team that can aim higher" being formed (by our knowledge) at the time he got benched tho, I highly doubt he decided to tell fnatic he wants to leave before he saw promising rosters being formed. also cojo would've come out long ago to say it was derke's decision
