why do every year chinese ascencion teams sign 2 importss and when they make it they have to drop one and ruin the team chemistry for ex. jdg core had to drop yoman to keep stew, drg dropping zeno and now XLG have the decision to drop either rarga or kristal

No idea. If I had to guess, it would probably be the org wanting to sign exemplary foreign players to win Ascension so they can gain the benefits of being a tier 1 team, before dropping the lesser or their two imports for a local player that can try to fill their shoes. Would seem kinda scummy from a player's perspective, especially if they helped them win Ascension, but at the end of the day the imports are going into this knowing one of them will be dropped if they win

T2 team getting 2 imports is quite common. Apeks (North Polaris) sign 2 polish players (East: Surge) for "imports".
Only difference are Apeks 2 "imports" are EMEA players, so they don't count in Tier1 VCT.
China imports are normally Korean/Russian players.

yes but with the new years it wont just be to make franchising while ruining the chemistry bcs they actually have to fight for their spot now
